Tili Saba, New album Out

10 years alter his debut album Sila Kang, the Gambian kora virtuoso Sura Susso will be releaseasing his much anticipated new album Tili Saba on 26 March! Tili Saba, means three days in Mandinka. The expression comes from an adage that says ‘the world is made up of three days, yesterday, today and tomorrow’. The expression is symbolic of the transition of time and the transient nature of the world and all in it. IThis is what Tili Saba embodies: it explores the past, draws inspiration from the present and contemplates the future through the Kora and its journey across centuries. Watch this space!
